Introducing Frank Busch, Business Advisor to DRFN

Recently, DRFN hired two business advisors to assist in DRFN’s Community Economic Development Department – Will Fong and Frank Busch. An introduction of Will has already been presented and now it’s time to introduce Frank.

Frank Busch is a member of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation in northern Manitoba who now resides in Westbank First Nation, BC. Frank has worked in various financial capacities for First Nations and First Nations organizations for over 20 years.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Indigenous Studies from the University of Manitoba, 5 certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute and a post-graduate certificate in Finance from Harvard University. He is also the author of “Grey Eyes” and a past recipient of the Burt Award for First Nations, Metis and Inuit Literature.

Frank helps Doig River First Nation to source, assess and analyze economic and revenue bearing opportunities to help the nation towards its goals of self-reliance.
