Elder and artist, Jack Askoty, lives at Petersen’s Crossing where he produces authentic bush art with items from the land such as diamond willow.  Jack specializes in making traditional drums from moose and deer hide.  He is also a traditional gatherer of diamond willow fungus (chaga), wild mint and other medicinal plants found in the territory.
