Introducing Marjorie Coleman

Marjorie Coleman has been hired in DRFN’s Tax Administration & Lands Governance position.

Marjorie has an extensive legal background that includes working as legal assistant for the Federal Public Prosecution Services of Canada.  Besides being a certified legal assistant, she has a diploma in Criminal Justice and is very familiar with criminal law. 

Marjorie is a graduate of the Tulo Centre of Indigenous Economics and the Thompson Rivers School of Business Economics where she studied First Nation Applied Economics and earned a certificate in First Nation Tax Administration. 

She has worked the last several years as an independent contractor with various First Nations in BC and Alberta creating documents in areas such as Rates and Expenditure Laws, Policy and Procedure development, Laws & Bylaws, Land Use Laws, and more.
