- Build strong relationships with Indigenous artists and makers, including sourcing products, coordinating product intake, pricing, sales, and payments.
- Manage inventory, merchandising, product displays, purchasing, and special customer and corporate gift orders.
- Lead and support a small retail team, including scheduling, training, coaching, and day-to-day direction.
- Manage daily financial administration and prepare month-end documentation and reporting, with training and support provided.

- Build relationships with customers, community members, businesses, and partners and identify new opportunities to grow the store.
- Coordinate boardroom, kitchen, and office rentals and support the day-to-day care and operation of the facility.
What You Bring

- A friendly, confident approach to customer service and a natural ability to build relationships with artists, community members, customers, and partners.
- Strong organization, initiative, and follow-through, with the ability to take ownership of a busy day-to-day operation.
- Leadership experience or the ability to confidently guide, support, and schedule a small team.
- Comfort with cash handling, inventory, invoices, basic financial administration, and learning month-end processes.
- Comfort using social media and technology; experience with Square or another point-of-sale system is an asset.
- Knowledge of Doig River First Nation and Treaty 8 culture and history is an asset, along with a genuine interest and commitment to continued learning.
- A respectful, relationship-focused approach to working with Indigenous artists, makers, Knowledge Holders, community members, and customers.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new products, displays, workshops, events, promotions, and community connections.
- A valid driver’s licence and ability to travel occasionally for markets, trade shows, purchasing, deliveries, and other store activities.
