The evening went well. We are seeing an increase in humidity and lower temperatures for the day today which is promising, but we are remaining vigilant.
Emergency Services have been able to register the majority of our on-reserve membership. As well, we have been able to identify members that did not attend the ESS in Fort St. John. Emergency Services check-in is still available at the North Peace Arena.
Sprinklers have been activated within the community for additional structural protection measures. Currently, the community is safe and animals are taken care of.
The next update from the Emergency Operations Team will be around 12:00 p.m. on May 14, 2024.
