The fire continues to grow. The majority of the growth has been on the Northern/Eastern flanks due to wind direction (away from Doig River FN).
Wildfire Services continue to utilize the river as a break while creating new ones to slow the spread.
Thank you to all the members who assisted and those who evacuated as requested. The fire fighters and crews will continue their tireless work into the evening and will provide a further update when/if the situation changes.
